Now what?.....

Kevin and I made it through the retirement ceremony/celebration/hoopla.....now what? I feel relief that it's over, but kinda sad.

Saturday is a big day around here. Kevin is retiring from the military after 20 years of service! I'm beyond proud of him, excited for him, and nervous for the ceremony....all at the same time! What a roller coaster of feelings!

New Beginnings (and Spilt Coffee!)

The first day of daycare for 2012, the first day of school for 2012. So, how did I start my day? By spilling an entire cup of coffee (my beloved coffee) all over my desk, which had a stack of bills, a contract, and misc paperwork....ALL covered in coffee!! ARGHHhhhhhh...... It's got to get better through the day, right!?

Christmas Cookie Party!

Well this was a wonderful idea! We had a cookie party at daycare this year instead of exchanging presents!!! We nibbled on cookies throughout the day, made ice cream cone Christmas trees, and finally divided up the leftovers to send home. A SMASHING HIT!
