Joanna Lund Cookbooks
I have many books by Joanna Lund. When "googling" her today, I discovered she had passed away back in 2006. I felt sad. I have felt as if I had known her.
In her cookbooks she always has little snippets of her family life, and if Cliff, her "truck-driving husband", had liked a particular recipe.
I loyally use all her books. They are everyday recipes, with everyday ingredients. I highly suggest you give her recipes a try! Great recipes, and great for diabetics!

A New Week
Happy Monday. This will be another scorcher of a week. Outside chores and play in the mornings, indoor activities in the afternoon for sure!!! With temperatures at 99*-105*, and the heat index at 115*, there is no other choice!

Cain had to be placed in the NICU for up to a week, he had amniotic fluid in his lungs.
Mom, Dad, and brother and sister are staying at the Ronald McDonald house.
